In October 1969, Bishop Paul S. Morton and eight other community leaders founded the Paul S. Morton Scholarship Foundation to assist local students to achieve their higher educational goals.

The Foundation is operated and maintained by gifts and donations from loyal supporters, grants, endowments or other fundraising activities. We are a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization.  Our volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring that the Foundation’s mission is accomplished, making policy decisions, and securing the financing for scholarships and other initiatives.
